01
Who is responsible
The organization that invited you usually decides why the interview is conducted, which HireEGG features are enabled, who reviews the results, and how long records are kept. That organization is normally the controller or data fiduciary. HireEGG provides the platform and processes campaign data on its instructions, while acting separately for limited account security, service protection, and legal obligations.
02
Before the interview
The invitation or pre-interview screen should identify the hiring organization, explain the assessment, show which recording or integrity controls are enabled, and link to relevant notices. You should be able to review required permissions before the session begins.
03
Data the campaign may collect
- Identity and contact details, invitation status, consent records, role, application or campaign identifiers, and scheduling information.
- Written, spoken, or video responses; transcripts; uploaded CVs or files; question timing; scores; summaries; and reviewer notes.
- Camera, microphone, system-check, recording, room-scan, fullscreen, clipboard, face-visibility, device, network, typing, or companion-app signals, but only when the organization enables the relevant controls.
- Technical and security records such as IP address, browser and device details, timestamps, request logs, and incident information.
04
How it is used
The data is used to deliver the interview, confirm readiness, create transcripts and reports, assist review, detect technical or integrity events, troubleshoot the session, protect the service, and meet the hiring organization's documented instructions and legal obligations.
05
AI-assisted analysis
HireEGG may use AI to transcribe responses, compare answers with job-related criteria, summarize evidence, and prepare decision-support reports. AI output is not proof of ability, misconduct, identity, or intent and should not be the sole basis for a hiring decision. The hiring organization remains responsible for meaningful human review.
06
Who receives it
Authorized people at the hiring organization may receive your responses, transcript, report, integrity events, and related records. HireEGG's service providers process only the data needed to provide their function. Data may also be disclosed when required for security, legal claims, or law.
07
Retention and deletion
The hiring organization usually sets or approves the campaign retention period. Recording retention may be configured separately. Deletion can be delayed by backups, legal holds, disputes, fraud investigations, or records the organization must keep by law.
08
Choices, accommodations, and questions
If a feature is inaccessible or inappropriate for your circumstances, contact the hiring organization before the interview to request an accommodation or alternative where available. Privacy-rights requests should usually go to that organization; HireEGG will assist when required. Questions or requests may be sent to info@hireegg.com. Please do not send passwords, one-time codes, full payment-card details, or unnecessary identity documents by email.
